A parrot in Tracy California named “Rula” has an unusual talent of mimicry, and is ruffling the feathers of his neighbors. The parrot is known for barking like a dog, meowing like a cat, and whirling like a drill. Other sounds the bird makes are the sounds of a waterfall and and then there’s the curse words have the neighbors in an uproar. Tracy California Parrot ruffling feathers.
Jessica Baca, of Tracy California, has accused the bird, named Rula, of saying “prostitute” in Spanish. Baca’s grandchildren have kept repeating the parrots foul language and Baca has to scold them not to say those words!”

Rula’s owner, Rita Canisales, says that Baca isn’t hearing the bird correctly. Rula is actually saying his own name, which sounds similar to the offending word, she says.
Besides, Canisales says, she’s never taught the bird Spanish.
On another note, the local animal control officer, who’s received several complaints about Rula’s lude language, says he’s never heard the bird curse.
